Quick Whole Wheat Chapati Recipe

Chapati is an Indian whole wheat bread that doesn't need to be risen. It's great as a wrap.

– 2 ½ cups whole wheat flour – ¾ teaspoon salt – 1 cup water

INSTRUCTION

A bowl should be used to combine the flour and salt. Add water and stir until a soft dough is formed.

STEP  1 .

Turn the dough out onto a work area that has been lightly dusted with flour, and knead it several times.

STEP 2.

Create a ball out of each of the eight pieces that you have divided. With the use of a rolling pin, shape each ball into a circular that is extremely thin.

STEP 3.

Heat the griddle on medium-high. Cook each dough ball on the griddle for two minutes until bubbles and blisters appear.

STEP 4.

Continue frying until the other side is gently browned after flipping.
