Paleo Banana Bread


Paleo Banana Bread offers a delicious and nutritious alternative to traditional banana bread, catering to those following a paleolithic diet. This grain-free, gluten-free, and dairy-free version retains all the moist goodness and sweet flavor of classic banana bread while aligning with the principles of the Paleo lifestyle.


 – 3 ripe bananas, mashed – 3 large egg – 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted – 1/4 cup pure maple syrup or honey – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1 1/2 cups almond flour – 1/2 cup coconut flour – 1 teaspoon baking soda – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon – Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts or dark chocolate chips for added texture



Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a standard-sized loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.


Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, eggs, melted coconut oil, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla extract. Whisk the ingredients together until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the almond flour, coconut flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring continuously until a smooth batter forms.

If desired, fold in chopped nuts or dark chocolate chips to the batter for added flavor and texture.


Step 4

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
