Enjoy the goodness of homemade gluten-free sandwich bread with this simple and delicious recipe. Perfect for those with gluten sensitivities or anyone looking for a tasty alternative, this gluten-free bread is easy to make and yields a soft, flavorful loaf that's ideal for sandwiches or toasting.

– 2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour – 1 cup almond flour – 1/2 cup potato starch – 1/4 cup flaxseed meal – 1 tablespoon baking powder – 1 teaspoon xanthan gum – 1 teaspoon salt – 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup – 3 large egg – 1 1/4 cups warm milk (dairy or non-dairy) – 1/4 cup melted butter or vegetable oil

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free all-purpose flour, almond flour, potato starch, flaxseed meal, baking powder, xanthan gum, and salt. Whisk the dry ingredients together until well combined.

Step 2

In a separate bowl, whisk together the honey or maple syrup, eggs, warm milk, and melted butter or vegetable oil until smooth.

Step 3

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay. The batter will be thick but pourable.

Step 4

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
