Gluten-Free Quiche (Bacon & Cheese)

Gluten-free quiche is a delightful dish that caters to those with gluten sensitivities while offering a burst of flavors. This particular recipe combines the smoky goodness of bacon with the rich and creamy texture of cheese, creating a savory gluten-free quiche that is sure to be a hit at any brunch or family gathering.

– 1 gluten-free pie crust (store-bought or homemade) – 6 slices of crispy bacon, crumbled – 1 cup shredded Gruyère or Swiss cheese – 4 large egg – 1 1/2 cups milk (regular or non-dairy alternative) – Salt and pepper to taste – Optional: Chopped fresh herbs like chives or parsley for garnish

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). If using a store-bought gluten-free pie crust, follow the package instructions for pre-baking. If making a homemade crust, par-bake it for about 10 minutes until it's just starting to set.

Step 1

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined. Stir in the crumbled bacon and shredded cheese, ensuring an even distribution of ingredients.

Step 2

Pour the bacon and cheese filling into the pre-baked gluten-free pie crust, spreading it evenly. If desired, sprinkle some extra cheese on top for an extra layer of gooey goodness.

Step 3

Place the quiche in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 35-40 minutes or until the center is set and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. The top should be golden brown, and the edges of the crust should be nicely browned.

Step 4

Once the quiche is done baking, allow it to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve warm and enjoy this gluten-free bacon and cheese quiche as a delicious breakfast, brunch, or light dinner option.
