Gluten-Free Cinnamon Breadstick

Gluten-Free Cinnamon Breadsticks are a delightful twist on the classic breadstick, perfect for those who follow a gluten-free diet or simply want a tasty alternative. These sweet and aromatic treats are infused with the warm flavors of cinnamon, making them a delicious and comforting snack or dessert.

 1. 2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour 2. 1 tablespoon baking powder 3. 1/2 teaspoon salt 4. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened 5. 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based) 6. 1/2 cup granulated sugar 7. 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 8. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the gluten-free all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the softened butter and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to incorporate it into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Step 1

Pour in the milk and vanilla extract, and stir the mixture until a soft dough forms. Be careful not to overmix; it's okay if there are some lumps.

Step 2

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle approximately 12x8 inches in size.

Step 3

In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle this cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.

Step 4

Starting from one of the longer sides, carefully roll the dough into a log. Using a sharp knife, cut the log into 1-inch slices. Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or until the breadsticks are golden brown. Allow them to cool slightly before serving.
