Arugula Pear Goat Cheese Salad (with Maple Vinaigrette!)


This arugula pear salad is perfect for any season! The homemade maple vinaigrette is one of my all-time favorite salad dressings! This salad features tender baby arugula is tossed in a sweet and savory maple vinaigrette and topped with crisp pear, crunchy pecans, and creamy goat cheese.


  1. Arugula: 4 cups, washed and dried 2. Pears: 2 ripe, thinly sliced 3. Goat Cheese: 1/2 cup, crumbled 4. Candied Pecans: 1/2 cup, roughly chopped 5. Red Onion: 1/4 cup, thinly sliced For the Maple Vinaigrette: 1. Olive Oil: 1/4 cup 2. Maple Syrup: 2 tablespoon 3. Dijon Mustard: 1 tablespoon 4. Apple Cider Vinegar: 2 tablespoon 5. Salt and Pepper: to taste



In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper until well combined. Set aside.


Step 1

In a large salad bowl, combine arugula, sliced pears, crumbled goat cheese, candied pecans, and thinly sliced red onion.


Step 2

Pour the prepared maple vinaigrette over the salad. Toss gently to ensure even coating. Adjust the amount of dressing according to your preference.

Toss the salad ingredients together until well mixed. The combination of peppery arugula, sweet pears, creamy goat cheese, and crunchy candied pecans creates a delightful texture and flavor.
