Air Fryer Samosas Recipe 

You can make Indian samosas in an air fryer. This recipe calls for potatoes and peas, but you can use it to make any kind of samosa.

– 12 ounces yukon gold potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch piece – 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil – 1/2 cup chopped onion – 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger – 2 cloves garlic, minced – 1 teaspoon garam masala – 1/2 teaspoon cumin – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional) – 2/3 cup frozen peas, thawed – 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro, plus more for garnish – 24 wonton wrapper – cooking spray




Boil potatoes in a small saucepan with salted water on high. Low-heat simmer 10 minutes until fork-tender. Drain potatoes and mash in a bowl until almost smooth but lumpy.

STEP  1 .

Medium-heat oil in same pot. Cook onion 3–4 minutes, stirring periodically, until tender. Sauté ginger and garlic 30 seconds till fragrant. Garam masala, cumin, salt, and cayenne cook 30 seconds more

Add peas and mashed potatoes to heat. Turn off heat and add cilantro. Centre wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Wet wrapper edges. Triangles are 2-cornered. Press edges to seal. Apply cooking spray to both sides of samosas.

STEP  3 .

Preheat air fryer to 350. Spray air fryer basket. Work in batches to distribute samosas in the basket. Cook samosas for 8 minutes, turning halfway, until golden brown and crispy.

STEP  4 .

Blend yogurt, cilantro, lime zest, lime juice, garlic, salt, and pepper in a small food processor until fully blended. Cover and chill for 5 days.

STEP  5 .

Samosas should be served with a yogurt-cilantro sauce. Add more parsley as a garnish.
